Butler Yard Care is a locally owned lawn maintenance and landscaping company serving South Burlington and the surrounding Chittenden County area. What started as a kid mowing the family lawn has grown into a full-service operation with over 50 weekly clients and a reputation for showing up, doing the job right, and keeping things simple.

We're not a franchise. We're not a crew passing through town. We're your neighbors—and we take care of properties the same way we'd take care of our own.

Meet Jules Butler

I'm Jules Butler, and I started this company the way a lot of businesses start—by accident.

I grew up mowing my family's lawn in South Burlington. It was just a chore at first. But I got interested in the equipment, started paying attention to what actually made a lawn look good, and before long a neighbor asked if I'd mow theirs too. Then another. Then another.

By the time I graduated from South Burlington High School, I was managing over 50 weekly clients and had built a small crew to help meet the demand. I did all of that while juggling school, hockey, and tennis—which taught me more about time management, reliability, and keeping commitments than any class ever could.

Now Butler Yard Care is my full-time focus. I'm not chasing some big expansion plan or trying to become a franchise. I'm focused on doing great work for the clients we have, taking care of the people who work with me, and building something I'm proud of in the community that supported me from the start.
